My last post was around March of 2014. I went through a very difficult time shortly after my last post that still scars me to this day when I think about it. I will not go into full detail but lets just say that when one door slams in your face...another door opens up to bigger and better things.
Where have I been lately? Well lets see...I have a new job that I love everything about. I have a great work environment and supporting team. I enjoy going to work everyday and really love what I do and the company I work for.
I am now married!!!I love saying wife and husband. I loved our wedding and I would not have changed a single thing about it. All of our loving family and friends shared our wonderful day with us. I will do a separate blog post on our wedding and all the details.
We honeymooned in Paris, France!!! It was the most amazing and exhausting trip ever and I wish I could go back. I really think every one should visit the city of love at some point in their life. It went by so quickly and made so many memories. It was truly magical.
We are celebrating Chris's birthday in Sanibel!! I have wanted to go to Sanibel since the first day I met Chris. We booked it on a whim and can't wait to celebrate on the beach. Even though this trip has not even come yet, we are already looking at Italy for Christmas for next year!!!
I am trying to improve my health and have taken up running twice a week during lunch. We manage a 3 mile run and it has really helped with my stamina. I am now doing some research on cutting calories. I really think my issue is the chub I hold so dear and close to me around my legs and belly area. I truly think that cutting will help show some of the muscle I have buried deep down there somewhere.
We have been enjoying life and marriage. We are taking advantage of going out to movies and trying new breakfast places. We keep our friends close and enjoy dinners and poker nights together. We wake up early and go to the farmers market, go running, take the dogs on walks, grab a burger to go, and relax in our backyard. Time has flown by since my last post and I feel sad that I abandoned it for such a long time because I was in a sad place in my life. Hopefully I can commit again and post new recipes and adventures as they happen. Till next time xoxo!
