Baby Josiah Brian Olari

Highlight of the year?????
I became an aunt to a beautiful baby boy. My heart melts over and over every time I see his little face. Unfortunately he lives so far away from me so I have to resort to pictures. He is the first nephew and grandchild on my side of the family.

I had the pleasure of meeting this little bundle of joy in November along with my mom. I do not get to see my side of the family very often but when I do I cherish every minute of it.

The little bundle of joy was born on November 2nd a day after our wedding anniversary and 3 days shy of my mother's birthday. November is a very special month to all of us now.

October Eve Fashion

I am over the moon excited about it finally being fall and that I can bust out my boots and long sleeves and wear layers!!!!! I dread summer and for someone from being from sunny California you might think something is wrong with me but I thrive in colder weather. I enjoy running when its cooler out. I own more boots than flats. I love layering. I squeal when we get to light up the fireplace. I think I am in more of my element when its finally Fall which is why I wanted to share with you my Friday outfit with you all.

Yesterday was October eve and it was the perfect cool Friday to wear an outfit favorite.
I adore my Toms Leila Boots. I received them as a birthday gift last year and I still adore them. They are incredibly comfortable I kid you not you could walk miles and miles and never feel an ache. These are perfect for city living, or traveling the streets of SF. You will look adorable and still be comfortable. They also come in a ton of different colors and patterns now. Last year they didn't have as many options.

The stripped long sleeve is something I swiped up during the Nordstrom Anniversary sale. Its thin and soft and perfect to wear under  vest or coat or wear a scarf over. They no longer have it available on their website for sale but I can link below some other alternatives that are just as adorable

The Longchamp bag is a recent purchase and love. I have wanted one for forever. I never justified getting it because well......I don't know. I would see them all over Paris when we visited and they slowly started creeping into the states. Now that I own it I regret not getting it sooner. Its a solid bag that is prefect for traveling, hauling everything for work, a baby, a shopping day. Its quality is worth the price and I kind of now want another one in either the olive color or grey. Seriously I highly recommend asking for this bag. Christmas is just around the corner ladies ;)

Engagement Ring

I get a lot of questions and compliments regarding my engagement ring. When my husband started asking me about rings and what I like he wanted to know the basics but pick out the ring himself. I told him I love round cut diamonds and no other cut. I wanted something classic and timeless that would never go out of style and I liked dainty. I didn't like the look of a lot of metal. He took these notes and started his ring journey. He went to Michael Genovese here in St. Louis MO. According to my husband they were wonderful to work with and were able to find the perfect ring for me.

My ring is a made by Gabriel and Co, including my bands. They are white gold and all three rings are a size 5.5. They have pave diamonds that go down 3/4 of the way down. I recently received my two year anniversary band a bit early because a girl couldn't wait until November. To this day I am still absolutely in love with my rings. I would never change a single thing about them.
